Are Facebook posts the Diaries of our time? It is public, hence, watered down, but some of the entries I read would qualify for "Cringe"....

FB posts chronicle the grand events of our time via the Newsfeed, as Pepys's recounting of gossip ib his Diary did. But dalliances like his don't turn up there. 8-)
