Update: Buttondown have now fixed the issue and the email for 13th August was sent out successfully. If you expected to receive it but didn’t, email me.

If you’re subscribed to the daily diary emails you may have noticed there haven’t been any for the past three days. Apologies for this – I’ve contacted Buttondown’s support and am waiting to find out what’s gone wrong.

So far the missing diary entries are for the 10th August, 11th August and 12th August 1661.

Recently, and unrelatedly, quite a few of you noticed your daily emails stopped arriving, and your email had been marked at Buttondown as “Spammy”. This sometimes happens when an automated system thinks the emails are spam and reports this back to the sender (Buttondown), who then politely stop sending the emails.

If this happens to you, just email me and I’ll set it right. Buttondown say they’ve fixed many instances of that problem recently so hopefully that particular issue won’t be too frequent now.
