A bookseller in Westminster Hall, and husband of Ann Mitchell: http://www.pepysdiary.com/p/1101.php
From L&M Companion: “Miles and Ann Mitchell were booksellers in Westminster Hall from whom Pepys often bought newsbooks, political pamphlet and the like. They also advertised the sale of lozenges. They kept the first shop in the Hall from c. 1656, and were old friends of Pepys, he and Elizabeth often using their stall as a rendezvous. Their house in St Margaret’s parish, appears to have been a substantial one.”
I have a 1896 copy of “Weir of Westminster” published by Chotto and Windus of Piccadilly. There is a sticker inside the front cover that reads

& Librarian
33 Old Bond St. W.
Is this any relation to Miles and/or Ann Mitchell?
