Back on the previous site, more than two years ago, some of the topic pages in the Encyclopedia included relevant text and images from Wikipedia. This was reduced to links to Wikipedia when I rebuilt the site. But now, it’s all back.

So if you go to Charles II’s page or that of the Theorbo you can read the matching pages from Wikipedia. Of the 5,000 Encyclopedia topics, 1,106 contain Wikipedia information, which is pretty good. These pages will update with the latest version of the text every week or two.

If you notice any of the Wikipedia content on this site looking very strange, do let me know — I’ve done a lot of work in trying to ensure it doesn’t break, and looks neat, but Wikipedia code is complicated and unpredictable, so who knows what odd things are lurking among all those pages…
