Daily entries from the 17th century London diary
Per L&M Companion:
(c 1618 - 1702) of Greenwich; Evelyn's brother-in-law; barrister 1642; Commissioner of the Alienation Office 1689-1702. He and Pepys served together from 1696 on the Grand Committee for Greenwich Hospital. Evelyn has a kindly notice of him at his death referring to their 'long and greate' friendship and to the 'displeasure' Glanville took at Evelyn's 'not concurring with him as to his opinion of the Trinity.'
