Mr Howlett. Shopkeeper in Westminster Hall; father of Betty Mitchell. Possibly John Howlett of the Sanctuary, Westminster, assessed for the subsidy of 1664. The yax he was collectuing 20 March 1667 was probably the hearth-tax.
