King James I was the first King of England to be of the House of Stuart. His Queen Consort was Anne, the daughter of Frederik II, King of Denmark and of Norway. In 1604, the King ordered a revision of the Bible in 1604, the result being the Authorised Bible, which was completed in 1611.
