Col. Charles George Cocke. Civil lawyer; amember of the Hale commission for the reform of the law (1652), a judge of Admiralty and Probaate and of the High Court (app. 1653). Author of *England's compleat law-judge and lawyer* (1656) which argued for the retention of the civil law in the administration of probate.
