Turner, a Fellow of Magdalene College Cambridge, was Rector of Eynesbury, Hunts. from 1649 - 1689 and Rector of Wistow, Hunts. from 1687 - 1705, the year of his death. In Sandwich's will he was made trustee of the earl's Eynesbury lands. He corresponded with both Sandwich and Pepys on business matters. He was Chaplain to Sandwich.
