Daily entries from the 17th century London diary
The Kings Fisher (Kingfisher).
Probably a merchantman, as there is no record of a warship in lists compiled by Sandwich.
There is a mention in the Journals of Allin on the 6th of May 1664, Allin being somewhere near the Downs.
“the Kingfisher, Captain Baddenston from Galipoli, saluted 3 guns, answered 1.”
