from L&M Companion (Mrs. Fisher--Cosen Nan Pepys--entry)...Pepys refers to Fisher as an 'old Cavalier'; it is therefore possible that he was Robert Fisher of Carmarthen, who was in 1663 given a grant from the fund for royalist veterans.
