from L&M CompanionDescribed in his will (1676) as a yeoman, of Brampton. He looked after Pepys's property there. He died owning copyhold and freehold lands in Bramptom, as well as cottages and cash. He left a widow Mary whom he had married after the death of his wife Joan in 1668.
