Daily entries from the 17th century London diary
Ald. William Love (d. 1689). A rich Turkey merchant and a leading London Independent, suspected of Levellin and republican sympathies. Councillor of State in 1660; M.P. for London 1661-89. He probably never took the sacramental test for M.P.s.
