Thomas Jeffries. Edith Pepys (b. 1591), first cousin of Pepys's father, had married John Williams of Cottenham and their daughter had married one Jeffrey; possibly the Westminster apothecary 'Jefferies' ahom Pepys refers t5o as a 'kinsman'. He was Thomas Jefferies, made free[man] of the Society of Apocatheries of London in 1652 and married at St Olave's Jewry in 1665.
