There is a great podcast called Travels Through Time, available through the usual podcast routes, which offers a fabulous episode, number 33, dated 5th April 2022 with author Margaret Willes, and titled ‘In the Shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral (1666)’. In this, Margaret leads us from The Old St Paul’s, to the new, via the plague and the Great Fire, with wonderful facts which add even more flesh to the bones of Pepy’s and Evelyn’s entries from this time, as well as information about The Royal Society. 48 minutes well spent, I’d say!
