Description

On the south bank of the River Thames in the parish of St Olave, Southwark, roughly opposite the east end of the Tower of London.

The area shown on the map is very rough, using the description from the L&M Companion volume (“it contained the landing stairs, lane and square as well as the street of that name”) and these maps.
