Per L&M Companion:
Held five commissions 1663-6; in 1665 accused of embezzling prize goods. He was, according to Sir. T. Clifford ( http://www.pepysdiary.com/p/7945.php ), a brave officer.
Captain Hugh Seymour met with Sandich on the 7th September 1664 to take up the Hector. In the Fleet list of April and September1665 he was in the 5th Rate Pearl with 135/145 men and 24/22 guns.
