  • Per L&M Companion:
Benjamin Scott was a relative, his wife being Judith, daughter of Sir Richard Pepys (Lord Chief Justice of Ireland 1655-9), and a member of a branch of the family with strong Essex connections. He was a citizen and pewterer of St Sepulchre, Holborn; to judge by the names in his will, he himself came of an Essex family. His wife died in Apr. 1664, he in the following December.

  • Husband of Judith: http://www.pepysdiary.com/p/1761.php
