Kt. 1664 (1617-81). Son of Robert, a City merchant; himself a prosperous merchant trading with Spain, mostly in wine. He was a Common Councilman 1662-7, Master of the Haberdashers’ Company 1665-6, and held office in the Canary, E. India and R. Africa Companies.
