    Per L&M Companion:-

    (1632-85), Genovese composer, singer and lutenist. Employed in Stockholm (along with G.B. Draghi) by Queen Christina, 1652. In France 1657, in England by 1664. Heard by Evelyn on 23rd. Sept 1680. Published a treatise on singing and a volume of ‘Songs by Signior Pietro Reggio (1680.) [Copy in the Pepysian Library, PL 2803 Lute tutor to the dramatist, Thomas Shadwell.
