“Dr. Knapp was not a Fellow of the College of Physicians, and he appears to have been quack and an imposter.”
John Knapp
Self styled physician. There were many quacks in practice in London, some medically qualified and only lacking membership of the RCP. Knapp however had no qualifications and falsely claimed to have been at Cambridge.
