    “Fourth-rate of 40 guns”

    From a note in Wheatley for August 2nd. 1663

    Also the Dutch Eastindiaman “Geldersche Ruiter,” captured 1665 & renamed “Mathias;” later burnt by the Dutch June 12th. 1667 during the Medway raid.
