Per L&M Companion:
(? - 1676) Naval official. He served under the Commonwealth; was clerk for victualling accounts 1660; briefly Clark of the Cheque at Chatham 1661; clerk to Batten 1663; Surveyor of the Victualling at London 1665-7; and Storekeeper at Chatham 1667-d.76. His wife was Jane, daughter of Richard Beckford of London.
