(d. by 1688) River agent for the Navy Board and Tangier committee. Had served in the Commonwealth navy and held three commands 1661-5. He was in disgrace after 1665 when he failed to take his ship the Success out of port during the Battle of Lowestoft, and was not employed again. Described in 1660 as “of Lynn”, by 1664 he was living in Wapping.
