living in canada all my life never could the name galliard
Hello,
The maiden name of my mother was Galliard. Her father was Joannes Jacobus Galliard, married to Henderika Margarethe Vos. They lived in Groningen, a town in the north of the Netherlands and had eight children.
Now there’s just one of the grand children left with the last name Galliard.
I wonder if there could be a link to families in France, Spane or Canada.
I searched for the meaning of the name and found that is a Celtic name from origine.
