  • Collonell Treswell, according to the L&M edition.

  • Colonel Daniel Treswell appears to have made his mark as a royalist officer under the Earl of Ormond in Ireland. After the (second) Ormond piece his name appears on a list in the archives of the House of Lords, and in the 1650ies he was instrumental in “removing” large numbers of Catholic Irish to foreign countries:

    Dublin, 20 Jany 1653 A 85, 380. 3000 Irish natives transported into Flanders from the Southern Counties by Colonel Daniel Treswell.

    Dublin 19 May 1654A 85, 413. 1500 Irish Natives transported for the service of the Prince of Cond
