Colonel Daniel Treswell appears to have made his mark as a royalist officer under the Earl of Ormond in Ireland. After the (second) Ormond piece his name appears on a list in the archives of the House of Lords, and in the 1650ies he was instrumental in "removing" large numbers of Catholic Irish to foreign countries:

Dublin, 20 Jany 1653 A 85, 380. 3000 Irish natives transported into Flanders from the Southern Counties by Colonel Daniel Treswell.
