    The name is famous for transporting people to the Colonies and for shipping from Devon a bull and three partners, to start the Cattle Industry: 1623:
    It was also used by the Navy to watch for bad guys in the Bristol Waters under the watchful eye of Adm. Batten back in ‘42. this ship [merchant] carried 36 Men and was 100 tons?, there were also two Mary’s on duty too.

    Charity

    There was a ship called Charity present, in the squadron commanded by Admiral Richard Badiley, at the Battle of Leghorn 1653. It was designated as a fire ship.
