Captain John Cuttle, commanded the “London” (64 gun ship), when it was part of the squadron which brought over King Charles II at the Restoration (May, 1660).
Commanded the Hector (22 gun ship) which sunk on september 3rd. “The Hector of ours sunk by a shot, or his lee ports neglected, the captain and near 80 men drowned.”
