Wholesale fishmonger, navy victualler
His first name is probably John but might be William, according to the L&M Companion volume. Both John Addis of London and William Addis of Plymouth supplied the Navy.
He appears once in the diary on 9 November 1660, when he and fellow fishmonger Arthur Wine host a dinner, and once on 12 February 1662 (last line). That’s all Pepys ever wrote about him, according to the L&M Index volume.
