L&M Companion: John Davis Senior and Junior were Navy Office Clerks. Senior is referred to above as Clerk to Lord Berkeley, and was probably with him in Ireland (when Berkeley was Governor of Galway) from 1661-3. Junior was appointed to a clerkship c. 1661.
