    But other than that, very little is known about him. He does portraits and miniatures, but it’s unknown whether he specializes in either of those areas.

    There was a ‘Salisburye’ who was a ‘platter’ on St. John’s St. and at one time quartermaster to a troop of Mountagu’s regiment in the 1650s, according to an L&M note (2) for 25 January 1661 (p. 23, Vol. 2).
