A merchant out of Hamburg used to transport bay salt from La Rochelle to Plymouth just before January 10 1667.
The Falcon
A merchant ship out of Hamburg, it had been loaded with bay salt at La Rochelle before King Charles II’s 10 November 1666 proclamation prohibiting trade with France. It arrived at Plymouth in early January 1667.
