    8vo.; [8], 199, [9] p. (The first two pages following p. 199 are numbered 121, 120; the balance of the pages are not numbered.) Imprimatur on leaf [A]1v: ‘January 10th 1663. Imprimatur, Roger L’Estrange.’

    A period ‘best seller’, editions in 1645, 1664, 1668, 1682, 1685, 1686, 1693, 1694,1705, 1709 … etc.

    Poems, &c. Written upon several occasions, and to several persons: by Edmond Waller, Esq; The fourth edition, with several additions, never before printed.
    London : printed for Henry Herringman, at the Anchor in the lower-walk of the New-Exchange, 1682.

    8vo.; [12], 289, [1] p., [2] leaves of plates : ports. Title page in red and black. With two engraved portraits of Waller (plates), one aged 23 and one aged 76, preceding title page; each is signed “P. Vandrebanc sculp.”, and the one of the older Waller is also signed “P. Lely pinxit”. Leaf K8 is a cancel, originally printed as leaf R8. This edition includes Waller’s “A speech at a conference of both houses” (p. 255-270).
