Seems Louis Carroll a descendant.
"Sir John Skeffington, who was the member of parliament for Co Antrim in 1661. When Skeffington's father-in-law died in 1665, he became the 2nd Viscount Massereene. His wealth enabled him to create the gardens of Antrim Castle."
