Theophilus Hooke. A near-contemporary of Pepys at Cambridge; entered at Clare Hal 1653, he graduated B.A. in 1657. He was Rector of Garboldisham, Norfolk 1553-89, and of Sudbourne, Suffolk 1666-1700.
