Sir Alexander Fitton (1630? - 1698) sometimes known as Baron Gawsworth, was an Irish barrister who became Lord Chancellor of Ireland despite having spent many years in prison. His estate was contested by Charles Gerard, son of Edward's sister Penelope. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Fitton
