Per L&M Companion:
Bookbinder; made free of the Stationer's Company in 1652. It is possible that he worked for John Cade ( http://www.pepysdiary.com/encyclopedia/5737/ ) and that he bound the diary. His son Edmond was made free by patrimony in 1687.
