So to bed, I wonder if Samuel had a four poster? must have had I suppose? thats how they kept the draughts out wasn’t it?
But … but …
… what’ll we do without our daily Sam? So to bed indeed!
Indeed and so to bed. But not before we’ve had a few drinks for old Sam!
But looking on the bright side:
When Sam has a leap year and we don’t, we will have two entries to look forward to.
And so… I don’t think I’ll get up.
i believe that last year (1659/1660) was a leap year for Sam.
You’re correct, Daniel. Last year (1659/60) was leap year. It was on the 29th of February that Sam first tasted metheglin (mead.)
The good news is that, even as we speak (and/or 343 years ago) Sam is/was working on his entry for March 1.
